I currently have prescription drug coverage over and above medicare. I realize there a few changes as to those insurance co carrying addition costs thru donut hole. I have six current meds and needing something realistic. Currently have Advantrarx premium plus.

I haven't tried this but I see that you take currently allot of meds. You could call the drug company directly. I heard that some of the medicine companies are offering reduced priced if not free prescription meds for those who have to take them. Take the bottles of what you are taking find out what company makes it (google). they may even have a number to call or link you can follow. I hope this helps.

I had an after thought Go on www.walmart.com They have a list of generic drugs they carry for 4-12 dollars. I would print them out and go to your doctor and see if he or she could pic something on that list that would be just as effective.

It depends. Go to http://www.medicare.gov There is a tool which will help you find the best part D plan.
The biggest change to Part D in 2008 has to do with routine non-Part B vaccine, aka routine Tetanus and shingles vaccines. Doctors will not be allowed to bill for it at in-network rate or not be allowed to bill at all for them. You'll have to go to a pharmacy for it to be covered.
