I thought the US was the land of the free. You don't have to cut your lawn in NZ . buy a sheep.

I have never heard of a State home owners association. Communities have associations and new home owners are given a book of those covenants when they move in. The communities also are run by a Board of Directors and a local Real Estate Management Group usually handles issues as well. Contact either your Board or Management group for the book. Keeping lawns and landscaping up is a pretty basic across the board rule no matter what association you are under. Either buy a lawn mower or pay to have it done.

call 411 and get the number, the home owner's assoc. should have given you a rule book in which that and other regulations should be listed.
