I worked as a graphic designer since I was 16..
and as a web developer during my first year in college.
many friends of mine Worked when they were teenagers, so I'm afraid you're mistaken, you could always work.

Do you mean as a summer job or a stable job?
Work is a good way to make a person independent and responsible. Teenagers need to learn a lot of valuable life lessons that will help them later in their lives.
I totally support the idea of summer jobs for students, but the two major problems are unemployment and how people view some jobs like waiter, salesperson in a shop..etc, those might be some of the jobs that people without a high degree can have.
A job is a job at least its a lot better than sleeping till 3pm or bothering people on the street or sitting in a cafe with nothing to do.

they work .
i find that teenage working girls are more than boys .
it is up to the person to try working as a teenager , esp during the summer vacation.
in the west , most teenagers work part time all around tghe year, esp in their universities to have pocket money.
here, the girl has to be really strong , bec working hours are too long . shops are open long after midnight. universities do not provide jobs in the campus.

It depends on the person and the family of the person, all teenagers need to do a little work experience, it helps greatly when going to get a job, it shouldn't interfere with studies.
