For shop classes or something?

I have a small toolbox and set of mixed tools inside that are many decades old and I want to get rid of them. I never use them.

Would a school take them? Or do you have any other suggestions on where I can get rid of them? (don't mention Goodwill or Salvation Army, I already know I can donate there as a last resort).

Or maybe Habitat for Humanity? I want to donate them somewhere where they can actually be used and are needed. Thanks.

I would think a school would accept a donation of tools if they have a shop class or even an art class. A Votech may even be interested. Here where I live we have a special thrift store run by Habitat for Humanity where people donate all kinds of building and home supplies and that includes tools. You could contact your local Habitat for Humanity and see if they have a "Habitat Restore" near you. Also, if you have a community art center then they may be interested as well. I teach art at my local art center and we take all kinds of donations.

Good Luck
