For a good car in normal operating condition - no. Main thing that affects cold start is the battery - have it checked for free at some autozone.

Be sure your coolant inside the recovery tank is tested for it's freeze point. You can do this your self with an inexpensive hydrometer from any auto parts store. It should have a freeze point of -35 -45 below 0 Fahrenheit.
Be sure your crankcase has the correct oil viscosity inside the crankcase, it's listed inside your handbook inside your glove compartment. If you don't have one go to Mobil Oil website. They have an applications box where you fill in your car, year and model. Your correct oil viscosity pops up in a rectangular box. Have autozone do a "load test" on your car battery the test tells how much reserve capacity is inside the battery.
You'll be good to go all winter.

What kind of car are we talking about? If all the maintenance services have been performed properly, you should be OK. The most important devices to check would be: a fully charged and properly sized battery; a good functioning "cold start mechanism" (choke or Fuel Injection); and some kind of all season antifreeze in the radiator to prevent freeze up of the engine.

It depends on your battery. In cold weather you may need a battery with more cold cranking amps. This is listed on the battery label itself. Also, you should have your battery tested to be sure it's still viable. Autozone will do this for free.
If it turns over good during warm weather it should be ok, unless it sits without running for long periods (ie days)
