Never mind we all make mistakes so don't apologize.
You won't be beaten into the ground with ridicule and you won't hear my guffaws, I'm not like that...much. We must remember that the air is travelling through space. The hurricane is moving eastward and the air on its north 'side' is also moving east, but slower. It cannot pass the hurricane and is buffeted out of the way by the stronger air currents from the south that have swung around the 'front' of the said hurricane. No, we are not talking about jet streams.

I doubt that pegminer will have realized his mistake, as he is an unrepentant sort that refuses to listen to the voice of reason, and he often turns to his meteorological texts for the answers to hurricane questions--can you believe that!!?? I do suspect he may have realized one mistake he made, though, which was attempting to answer a question that wasn't really a question, but rather a ill-founded tour de force.
