How much is too much. All of these rich people with their millions and billions, will never spend it all in their life times.
I would be happy with just enough to keep me financially secure, and be able to live a comfortable life. I don't need fancy cars, boats, or a big house or designer clothes. . Just a roof over my head, and food to eat, and enough to pay the utilities and taxes. A little for clothes and entertainment and I would be a happy camper. It's called security.

Money doesn't prevent troubles but, in my experience, it makes it easier to get thru them. It does purchase help so there is more time to spend with those we love rather than working to put the food on the table.
The lasting things, love, respect, good friends, good health it doesn't buy but it makes it more pleasant to enjoy these things.
I've found that I enjoy i t when I have it. I can also live happily with not much of it. Luckily I'm one who generally is content in whatever financial prosperity I have at the time.
It's my experience that people who don't have money spend time, energy and worry about how to get it. Folks who have it spend time, energy and worry to keep it. Since I've always worked for my money, I either have time or I have money. When I have the money I don't have time to enjoy it. When I have time, I don't have much money. Hopefully, with retirement here, I'll have a moderate amount of each.

No it doesn't.... at least not to me.
In fact it's my opinion that we in this country have lost a great deal in the pursuit of the all mighty dollar!
Businesses run 24/7, people work 2 and 3 jobs. To many children are in day care instead of being at home reared by a parent. Dinner time is a quick grab of what ever is available in the frig. Kids are glued to the game-boy the parents worked a second job to get! It just all seems so basically wrong to me... and I don't have a fix for it... It would be good if I did...

No problem. Just put a little two term limit on every publicly elected office and then the big money institutions will have to concede a lot of their influence back to the people. This is a very doable idea. But don't kid yourself, America is beautiful just the way she is. For instance: We debate amongst ourselves whether we should put up a wall to keep people out... ...but in most countries the people's greatest desire is trying to escape their own country so they can get into one like ours. Says alot about how blessed we really are. That is all. ................................. GB u always Plz pic mine 4 bst answr thin~Q u r sweet if u do.

Money cannot buy good health or true love. And, as far as money buying happiness, I just watched a show on lottery winners. A few of them had been killed after winning the money. Most of them said they were constantly hounded by family and friends for money.Yes, it can buy some of the material things we have always wanted, and it gives us financial security.

money to me does seem to make people happy but it can only buy u things, like a car, an i pod, or maybe a book. but money can not buy love, it can not buy time with ur family, it can not buy u friends, and most certainlyit can not buy u a relationship with someone. i think money i a mere thing we look up to today in society. but i think we can not do anything, well this might sound corny, but money spending ios kinda like a religion of some sort.

It can't buy everything and it's not the most important thing, but it does go a long way in giving peace of mind to those of us traveling this road of life. You can't get very far without it. I haven't ever woke up and said, 'wow, I'd be happy if only I were poorer.'

Money can not actually 'buy' everything, but it can affect a lot and that is because the modern society is very powerful entity - what's so bad about that?

I agree with most...however, too little money can be a witch...so adequate money can buy peace of mind from angst, worry, fear....so that one can take care of oneself.
And nowadays it even seems it buys you better health....since studies show the poorer you are the lower quality medical care given

Someone already said money doesn't buy love or happiness, but there's one other thing money doesn't buy -- immortality. You can't take it with you, so spend it while you have it or leave it to your loved ones.
