middle name David
I know it's Gwen Stefani's little guy's name and our 15 month old's name is Gavin but i'm not choosing Kingston because of anything to do with her and we didn't choose the name Gavin because of her either but I'm sure when people hear our kid's name that'll be what they think! (it's not 100% sure that we'll use this name since we aren't pregnant yet, but we're starting to try!)
I actually fell in love with the name Kingston a couple years ago when I held a real live 6 week old tiger in my arms after loving tigers since I was in first grade it was soooo cool!

Kingston!

I guess you just have similar taste to Gwen, could be worse! I like it, Gavin too. My 'egg' in psychology class 11 years back was named Gavin West :)

Well, since the -ton ending of Kingston indicates an actual meaning -- literally translating to "King's town" -- and the others are obviously meaningless misspellings, I see little point in changing it. If you love Kingston despite the current trendiness and celebrity usage, just use Kingston.

I like the prononciation Kingsten best, but I like the spelling Kingston better.

Also, I lived in a place called Kingston and I thought at the time that it was a very pretty name.

It's a good name, and I think that if you love it you should go with it. But just so you know, Kingston can be pronounced Kingst-en and I think that with such a unique name the tradtional spelling would be best.

Kingston David is awesome!
