The very fact that it's offered suggests you CAN learn how. Hopefully with practice; even become adept at it.
"Difficult" is a relative word. Knowledge and Wisdom are not as strictly irrelevant.
MIG welding might be the easiest to learn, and the process, once into it; is similar to using a caulking gun.
Again; and with all due respect; just the desire alone to LEARN is a positive step to Knowing. Even if you NEVER use the knowledge; you have it.

Not difficult. Take the course, you will enjoy it. Welding is 10 percent instruction and 90 percent practice. By the end of the night course you will be able to weld acceptably well. And it's fun.

Generally , not that difficult esp if welding is for crafts, artwork & non critical welding.
Good skill to have & there are many techniques to learn.
To be a professional weldor takes serious training & testing to become certified.
In the extreme , lives are at stake if critical welds are not perfect.
Worked for Linde & messed around w/ a couple of welding / cutting methods & found it enjoyable.
See where it takes you .
Best regards

Hell yea! Give it a shot. I taught Mig/Tig/Arg in School. And ive seen some pretty shaky hands become exelent welders. I would say go ahead and enjoy it. Just make sure if your tig welding not to stick the tungsten and the arc in the puddle.....you will be SHOCKED at what happens.:) Good luck with your training!

It's not very difficult to weld, but it take a lot of practice to make it look good, and good equipment is quite expensive.
If you want to test the water, go ahead and take that night class so you can see for yourself.

not that hard, just need a steady hand, and you have to hold the welding rod a certain distance like 1/8-1/4" from your weld. also you have to set the gas (oxygen and acetlyne) correctly. but other than that its not that hard. oh ya wear a helment, otherwise you hurt your eye as in temp blinding.

Take the course. You will learn at least the basics. Practice makes you better at it. MIG is the easiest to get started on.

not hard, just takes patient and attention, you don't want the welds you do the break or if it's to hot you melt what you want to weld
