It seems I am unable to outgive myself! Sound odd?
Well, I am of the mind that no matter what happens as long as I give with a pure heart and without expectations I always receive more than I give. Yes, I get back 100-fold. Self-satisfaction...self respect...and the joy and happiness of knowing that I may have done something to make someone's day just a little better.
Besides, I feel that I am very blessed man. I have a dry roof over my head, food in my cabinets, bills are paid, and I have a couple good friends. What more could I ask for or need?

I like giving more because the look of appreciation from the other person is gift enough. Knowing I made someone happy is great because then we both receive something!

The world, they say, is divided into givers and takers. I am a giver and have always found it difficult to receive something for nothing. This has a great deal to do with parents who taught me that there is no free lunch, no Santa Claus, be in debt to no man or woman, etc. Now I'm not putting a value judgement on this kind of upbringing. All I can say is that it's the only kind I can talk about subjectively.

I'm happy giving gift to someone than receiving. When i give i don't want anything in return. A word of "thank you" with smile from the recepient is enough for me.

I have a problem receiving. Not sure why, but if I never got another gift I would be happy.
Definitely a giver. Gives me more joy.

Giving.... you get to see the persons reaction on how well they like their gift. I like to shop for gifts to give. I can never seem to tell someone what I want for a gift.
