more than one can handle?

Only each individual can decide when enough is enough for them. Some can take on a whole lot more than others. Some can't take much stress at all.

It's funny, I do not do well under stressful situations. But put a medical crisis in front of me and brain kind of goes into full alert and I'm able to function much better than I would usually. Yet, I'm usually approaching a "basket case" on days when too many things are thrown at me at once. I'm not a multi-tasker and tend to freak out.

My family life is often crazy and I ask myself that qustion a lot----when is enough enough for me? There are times I'd like to get up and just walk out the doggone door. But I always manage to make it threw the day.

I try to hold onto my religious beliefs that God will not give you more than you can handle. But sometimes I gotta wonder.....

That depends on the individual. How strong minded or strong willed a person is. I am mentally strong..I have put up with more than most would be willing too. But I guess one would say that I am driven to help those who are unable to help themselves. Life is a challenge no matter how you live your life. Take time out for yourself to gather your thoughts & decide whether or not the issue at hand is really what you want to achieve. If it's a relationship you are talking about ...two people have to do some soul searching to determine whether you are willing to go the distance. Relationships can be beautiful if you are willing to share your inner feelings & compromise your differences. Does that answer your question ?

When you are satisfied, not satiated - because the judgement of the proper amount or quality is dependent upon the individuals' apriori criteria. For example, one baker may deem that a cup of sugar in a recipe is enough. Another baker who is diabetic may conclude that a half a cup is enough. The example is analogous to all situations, whether they be political, social, psychological etc. Cliche- (pathetic as they are) "Perspective is 99%".

it might seem that certain moments of our life are really the worst, but human beings have an extraordinary capacity to adapt and handle almost any crises and situations
I'm quite the shy type, but in some moment of crises I have discovered incredible resources inside of me, which have helped me even to help others overcome difficult periods

Everyone is different, like you for instance; ten bagels would be great for you, but for me it would be more then I could handle.

Once is never enough...........
As much as possible, as many times, as many days, most of the time.

OH YES. It is never enough.
