My fiance and I are planning on having five children when we get married. Trouble is...we really like names, and want to use one first name and two middle names. What do you think of these? The last name will be Trevathan.
Gabriel Charles Brent (Charles is a family name on my dad's side, Brent is a family name on his side.)
Jonathon Riley Morgan (Jack)
Nicholas David Myles (Colin) (Nicholas is my maiden name)
Leo Christopher Sean
Westley Sean Lucas
Alice Elizabeth Grace (Elizabeth is a family name on my mother's side)
Anna Victoria Jane
Mary Lilah Katharine (Milly-Kate)
Lucy Charlotte Bell
Avonlea Dinah Valentine (Ava)
If we ever have twins, we want to name them Vincent and Victoria, Colin and Charlie, or Mary Lucy and Sara Alice.
So...are these too complicated and weird?

Oops, I didn't mean to write Sean twice. I like Westley Evyn Lucas.
I would definitely call them by just nicknames: Ava, Colin, Jack, Milly, etc. Much shorter to write! And I love books, hence the literary names.

Personally, I would stick with a first and middle name. Also, I do not like when a nickname is not remotely close to the names. For example, just name your son Colin- not Nicholas David Myles. Jack - Jonathan, Milly-Kate, Ava, etc. With that said, I like Nicholas David Myles, and Westley Sean Lucas the best.

I actually like most of the names you've chosen individually, but I really don't care for the two middle name thing. I don't care for the spelling of Jonathon. I also don't care for Leo as a given name, how about Leonardo, or something that ends in "leo/lio"? I don't care for Avonlea, Valentine, or Westley. I wouldn't use Sean twice, either.
Here's some ideas:
Charles Brent
Jonathan Lucas
Nicholas Westley
Sean Riley
Gabriel David
Alice Elizabeth
Anna Victoria
Mary-Katherine Jane
Lucinda Charlotte -Lucy is a charming nickname, but it's a nickname in my book. Lucinda is prettier sounding than the traditional Lucille, and sounds nice with Charlotte.
Avery Valentine -I don't care for Valentine, but this actually sounds really cute to me. Avery sounds more modern than Avonlea, which sounds like "heavenly" to me, but still gives you the nickname "Ava".

They seem a bit long. You have to remember that a child needs to learn this name and be able to spell it. Most people will end up calling jonathon Riley Morgan, Jon or Jack and you will never see the other names. nicholas David Myles will be Nick. Leo Christopher Sean will jsut be Leo and Westley Sean Lucas will just be Wes, so pick names that your child will be able to deal with their whole life and not have to buy a desk set of checks to be able to sign the whole name.

I don't think they're weird, you have a great, classic taste in names. But they are too long and don't have good cohesion. Anna Victoria is alright, Victoria Jane is alright, but Anna Victoria Jane is somehow random imo. Almost all of your combinations have elements that flow nicely, but consider dropping the third names. In English speaking countries Valentine is a male name btw.

Personally I think it is too much, but that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with it...The thing that bothers me four or more names for a child is that it can become complicated for them later in life...as far as legal documents.. and things of that nature....
But it really is a personal choice. My cousins all have ellaborate names.....some of them are very unique too, but I love them just the same...The names that you have picked out sound really nice together. they flow and you have lots of options for nicknames...my cousins were thrown together due to family choices....Kennadie Jaqueline Marilynn, Foy Darren Trolen, Garren Dalton Cash.....These are all family names, so they threw them together...but they don't flow so smoothly....
I say that if you and your hubby like the names, then it is a done deal...after all they will be your children, and you can name them what ever you want...

They're okay except for Westley, Leo, Alice, and Avonlea. don't care for those. Something tells me that you and your fiance must be young. You're naming all of your future children already? Have one first and see how that goes. Good luck.
