When you become a teenager, u must remember that only a very short time ago were u a young child. Parents, are protective. I wasn't allowed to watch PG movies (besides Harry Potter) until about 6 months ago (I'm nearly 15). So yeah, they can be an irritant, but they seem to think it's in you best interest; where or not it is or isn't...only GOD knows, but that's just the way it goes. Parents have a legal and moral obligation to ensure the well-being of their children. We are maturING (verb) not matured. We still are messed when it comes to love, life, our goals so we need parents to guide us, I know it's annoying, Fo' Sho' it is, but what ya goin' to do?

most likely your decision is not reasonable or is not in YOUR best interest! Yes I am a parent. SO I dont know if you are the kind of teen that is making bad decisions. BUt even if you think it is a good decision take your parents advice and take another route. We dont want to control our children, we want a good, happy and prosperous life for our children. Not a life of jail and hardships and crap like that. So think about it the next time you make a not so good decision.

You're in training...you're expected to learn to make good decisions, and to demonstrate that capacity to our satisfaction. We're the instructors/supervisors. You're getting there, but you don't have enough experience to work without a safety net, yet. Why don't we just turn you loose and let you run on auto-pilot? For the same reasons we don't let drunks drive...you're full of hormones which sometimes make your judgments erratic. (We know this because we remember being teenagers, and to this very day my folks won't let me forget I drove a car into the lake).
And, we like having control over you...it makes us feel important. (LOL)

Then when are you going to grow up? You can't always depend on others. Learning to make decisions and becoming independent at a young age is not a bad idea;D

Wow, that's lame. no longer plenty you're able to do approximately it in spite of the undeniable fact that, till you take place to stay close to an Apple keep and you sneak out to purchase one from there. you're able to attempt purpose or ultimate purchase, a number of those shops carry them, or they'd have the skill to reserve you one for pickup. Get a chum with a motor vehicle (in case you haven't any longer have been given) to take you there. in any different case save your money for a kickass tattoo once you turn 18. EDIT: surely, i admire the above posters comments extra helpful!
