Yes i did a few times. And you have no choice really but to continue loving them because the heart can be a mean and very cruel thing sometimes! It wants what it wants, and that's what people get hurt over is their heart. It sucks, but no one, I mean nooo one ever gets over some one that they love that didn't love them back. Just because the heart's a very stupid thing. That's when you have to get your self out of those situations if they're there, saves some of your heartbreak!! And besides have you ever heard the saying "Love's a B*tch."?

At the time, I thought that I had fallen in love with a dude that I had been friends with since we were little kids. Not long after we started dating, he told me that he didn't think he could ever fall in love again. So I broke up with him, because I figured that there was no point in continuing the relationship. Less than a month later, I started dating the man who is now my husband. Not long after, my ex proclaimed his love for me and asked me to marry him. I said no. Claiming to be too devastated to be near me, he joined the army. Since then, he has asked me to marry him every time he returns on leave (even after I got married). It has been almost 14 years, but he still comes around asking me to divorce my husband and marry him. Sometimes I worry that my husband will bump into the guy one day and do something that'll get himself into trouble.

i would say that in every people who have stopped believing in love...maybe 65% of them stop believing because they got in a situation like ur question, an unfair relation like...maybe most of the people in that situation would reciprocly feel the way the other one feels...even if they say they dont like the other NOW, they cant deny loving the other same person, before his rejection came changing the relation... i personnaly give proper respect to people i care about and their opinion on my case wouldnt affect my judgement...affinity's are normal and to be dealt with !

after a while, you will stop loving them. then comes the regret of wasting your heart and soul on someone so selfish.
