The unions have been broken ,by the republicans ,corporations have moved almost all factory production work outside the U.S.A.and 40,000,000 people who work have no way to pay for health coverage and never will .
Democrats think they can change this . The world has changed and today its about profits that unions no longer share in because its cheaper to re-tool in Mexico where the plant construction is lower cheaper materials are available locally and only the equipment is still made in America . But the machinists unions will soon go the way of the others . We have given away our jobs and with them our incomes as working americans .

Those super bright kids who play with money have also never had to own up to the mistakes and have made this nation a victim of the debts they have caused .
We paid the 50 billion dollar bail out of the savings and loans .
We will now be bailing out the mortgage companies .
The truth hurts but democrats still believe they can fix this .

Denial .

If you don't BELIEVE you can fix something, then you can't.

I like to be optimistic, and changes are necessary if we are going to climb out of this mess.

The thing is..... nobody is required to hire through a union...it's a choice and it always has been. Unions wouldn't even exist if we could trust corporate America to treat workers fairly.

As far as healthcare goes...privitization without regulation hasn't worked, and it isn't going to. The insurance companies are "middle-man-ing" middle America out of affordable healthcare. They are taking the revenue in the form of profit out of the industry, which would be better if it were to flow directly to hospitals and healthcare workers. Simply put, it's a broken system....change is necessary.

I'm not a fan of corporate welfare.... bailing out the mortgage companies is not going to send the right message. Basically if you mismanage, defraud consumers,...then you get a pass ? Not all lenders behaved this way, and those are the ones who should survive.

Why did corporations move away?
Let see the democrats who believe we should tax the companies.
Union workers demanding that the companies owe them a job and turn out poor products.
The good old DNC pour on tons of regulations.

The 40 mil without health issurance that is been over blown.
There are people between jobs and some choose to opt out.
Lets do the math we are what about 300 mil in US now. 40 without health care that is 13%.

We want to destory the entire health care system so that we can have a feel good deal like they have in England where kids have to raise money so their dad can have the meds he needs.

Canadians come here for surgury not that is wonderful health care system they got.

You want tax freedom day push all the way into Aug?

Get a clue sparky when Hillary try to sell this nation on unverisal health care guess what happen the DNC lost the majortiy in Congress and we got 8 years of a GOP president.

Now you want the same person back in the White House?

Lets us not forget what is happening in this nation.
NJ voted down taxes to fund fetal stem cell scam. It doesn't matter that the number of cures from destorying fetal stem cells has been zip or that there are other sources of fetal stem cells.

OR voted down a big tax on smokers the same kind of tax the DNC try passing with the S-CHIP expanion program.

These are all warning.

So don't go looking for the fault in the GOP look to the DNC.

"The fault dear Burtus is not in the stars but in ourselves"

The unions broke themselves by their entitlement mentalities and the corporations moved out of the country so they wouldn't go broke. The Republicans simply keep the government out of business (get it right).

The only idea Democrats (or anyone else) have for fixing this is with outright socialism. If they say anything else, they are lying.

The solution is to get rid of the entitlement mentality in the US. Scrap the current method of cookie-cutter education in our schools and encourage the best and the brightest (find and develop the engineers instead of the professors) to create.

What we do not need to keep doing is looking to the government to move money from one place to another. We need to create new money with innovation and competition.

No, Democrats are not in denial. Most politicos know the stakes and also know that the change and recovery will take time. The real problem is the "What, Me Worry?" Republicans who figure they have already got theirs and forget the rest of the world. They will slowly realize that as the pyramid grows, the weight pushes down and their "share" is much smaller than they expected.

If anybody can do all this, it is the Democrats, after all they were the ones who created Social Security for the seniors, the 40 hour work week, minimum wage laws, and child labor laws.

Before these laws the republicans had you working a 60 hour work week, taking home $7.00 a week, and forcing small children to quit school to go to work cleaning out some nasty old republican woman's chamber pots.

What would you prefer the Dems to believe?

That we should all just bow down to the corporate Gods and let the country become a Corporate Feudal State?

Is that what you would prefer?

Ok, Mr. Smartypants, What is your solution? Just let it be?

I take it you are looking forward to the day when America becomes another Mexico? It could happen.

What ideas do you have? Or do you just like to criticize and make stupid remarks like these? Do you have children? Do you care about anyone besides yourself? If you do then you are what is wrong with this country. I guess you were not a JFK follower. Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.
Right now, I see that we have too many people on the RIGHT asking what the country can do for me while tricking people into believing that it is coming from the LEFT when it's not. They are master manipulators.

I agree with you whole hearted that the republicans have destroyed our country. But after something has been destroyed so callously we can do nothing less than try and rebuild our Nation even better than before.
