My boyfriend wants one, and it has been rumored that he was gay.

As a body piercer, I've done navel piercings on many guys, some of which were gay, others weren't. I think it's all down to personal taste and I personally, I think they can quite sexy on a guy.

Well it doesn't mean your gay.
This is going to be a complete preference of someones individual opinion. Everyone has a different outlook on others.
My opinion is no. I know more then one guy, who is not gay, with their belly's pierced. So I do not think its gay. But I also do not prefer men to have their belly buttons pierced.
If you are thinking about getting it done, do what you like. What you will be happy with. :)

I don't know if you would call it gay or not but guys don't usually (shouldn't) do that. Its a girl thing. It's like a guy getting a tattoo on the small of their back.

I had a friend who was gay and had it done...If that person wanted to get it done I'd say go for it, whatever makes him happy.
