I asked this same question in diff. words i kinda used the wrong words but what I need to know is if you have to have some kind of liscense to sell online? If so what kind? Thanks.

This would depend on your type of selling.

If you are selling occasional items from websites designed for that purpose (ebay, craigslist, yahoo) --- then no, you don't need a licence. Even if you are regularly selling from these sites, you don't need to obtain a licence --- yet.

If you have created your own website for a specific product line (for example let's say you want to sell new computer components similar to what TigerDirect does) then you would need to obtain a business licence. Depending on your state, you may be required to collect sales tax from customers located in your state.

The International Internet Small Business Association ?
If you run a warehouse operation, there might be city/county/state regulation, but...

If you are planning on doing it as a business then yes, you do need to become a registered company.

No not if your selling on e-bay -or craigslist ,,im not sure about what youir selling so check in search it may help you find out what your looking for ... good luck ..
