I live in Florida and we are in the eastern time zone..well at least the majority of it is. On the map below, around the Panama City Beach area, they are in the central time Zone but only the upper part west of the State Capital, Tallahassee. IF you are near Tampa or Fort lauderdale...you are Eastern time...

If you go as far east in Canada as Nova Scotia they are 1 hour ahead of Florida on Atlantic Standard time, but that is not a real big time zone. They also have an Eastern time zone which is on the same time as Florida.

It depends which part of Florida. When I go to Panama City Beach-it is central time zone. The other side of Florida is Eastern time zone.

vancouver isnt very cold at all. They are usually much hotter than the rest of canada. In calgary it was 13 degrees today, and I thought it was pretty hot! It may not be like florida, but I think its cool to have the weather change a little bit, instead of just hot and sunny every single day. I will admit that vancouver is very expensive though. But if I had the choice between vancouver and florida, of course I would say florida lol, who wouldnt?
