And to think he has a job that allows him to carry a gun. Dump him, he has issues.

It may be that these two people can get back together. You need to step back and give them an opportunity to do so. This happens quite often, where a third party gets in the way of a reconciliation between two people. Just because these people are divorced, it doesn't mean they don't still love one another. Given the opportunity, more couples would probably remarry, once their differences were settled. If you care anything about this man, you might encourage him to see if he and his ex-wife can work things out. You may love him, but if he stills loves her, why stand in the way? Be wise and step back.

Just because you get divorced… doesn't mean you don't still “love” that person, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they are in love with them. If you had kids, then they will still be part of their lives.
In this case, it sounds like he misses the life he had, not necessarily his ex. but with the things he had. You might want to sit him down and talk to him… but keep in mind; he was married so his ex will come up from time to time. So if you can deal with it, stay… if not…

Dito. There was a problem with the marriage to begin with. I hope you are not married to this guy. And if not please think twice before doing so. He is still very bitter about the whole situaiton and until that stops he will not be happy.

Don't let yourself get sucked into this. Cut your losses and find someone who is truly unattached. He may not actually love her, but it sounds like he is angry and bitter. As far as you're concerned, they'd just as soon be the same. You won't win.

Maybe you need to come out and ask him how he really feels about her before you end up getting hurt,It's better to know now than to keep driving yourself crazy wondering.
Good Luck

He never stop loving his ex-wife. Don't get your feeling to strong for this guy, because he probably will end up back with his ex.
