Wow this sounds almost exactly like my situation. Only, he dumped me.. which hurts even worse. In the end, we're back together now.. but, I lived without him in my life for a month. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.. and I know what you're going through. Some of the songs that really helped me were--

Cold as you- Taylor Swift
Tim McGraw- Taylor Swift
Picture to burn- Taylor Swift
Wait for you- Elliot Yamin (I know, it isn't country.. lol)
Who knew- Pink (Neither is that.. sorry)
Goodbye time- Blake Shelton
Then what- Clay Walker
Bad Day- Daniel Powter
I don't- Danielle Peck
Distant shore- Dierks Bentley
More than a memory- Garth Brooks
I can't love you anymore- Gary Nichols
My memory ain't what it used to be- Jason Aldean
What might have been- Diamond Rio
That kind of day- Sarah Buxton
Stupid boy- Sarah Buxton

Some of them might be a little depressing, but sometimes it's good to just listen to a sad song, feel that emotion, and let it go. Just remember this, if you love something set it free, if it comes back then it's yours forever.. if it doesn't, it never really was. If it really was meant to be, things will work out in the future. Otherwise, it just wasn't meant. Everything will be okay, one way or another.. I promise! =]

Here are a few of my favorites that I like to play when I was feeling blue about a relationship...

Danielle Peck.... Findin' a Good Man..

Got a bucket of Corona
Enough stories to last all night
About the trials and tribulations
Of findin' Mr. Right
Of findin' a good man

[Chorus:]
Here's to the liars and the cheaters
And the cold mistreaters
To the mama's boys who can't make a stand
Here's to the superficial players
The I love you too soon sayers
If you hear me girls raise your hand
Let's have a toast
Here's to findin' a good man

Or another good on is
Rascal Flats.... I'm movin on

I hate to say this, but he probably IS the same guy you fell in love with -- there's a reason they say love is blind. That's the problem with falling in love -- you can fall OUT of it really fast.

Don't dwell on the break up. Concentrate on moving forward.

And I thought ALL country songs were about break-ups and broken hearts (like Billy Ray Cyrus' "Achey Breaky Heart").

Country - ummm.......He Stopped Loving Her Today by George Jones.
If that's not yr. thing, then This Love - Pantera. Those are both kind of male POV tunes, but still great. This Love, obviously, is a lot more angry.

Taylor Swift - Picture to Burn Its a great song that will make you feel better

Patty Loveless - Blame it on your lying heart
Terri Clark - Better things to do

A lot of Taylor's stuff is good though

Try Shania Twain:
"Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under"
"Nah!"
"(If You're Not In It for Love) I'm Outta Here!"

They're all fun songs.

Stick with the classic break up songs like George Strait - "When did you stop loving me"..."Why'd you go an break my heart"..."You sure got this ol' redneck feeling blue"..."Baby blue"..."The cowboy rides away" and so many more.
