We had it stuffed with items when we moved so there is a chance it got something in it or got bent.I just don't want it to overheat and cause a fire. The repair man that fixed my microwave thought it wasn't worth repairing and it's just over a year old and of course out of warranty .

Check it with a level and adjust the legs if not level. Make sure not to overfill. Hope it works if only a year old might be worth getting a proper repair man in or calling the manufacturer they may have an idea of the problem. Try putting your vacuum hose in the vents etc. to see if there is something stuck in it if the above doesn't work.

It is best to at least remove the panel and check it out before dumping it.
Depends on how much you paid for it,to make worth repairing it.
Second hand dryers are very cheap or clearance at major stores like best buy.
If it is gas,you must be careful not to damage the gas workings.
I think when you stuffed it and moved it,that some thing that centers the drum got loose.
Good Luck

Remove the top by gently prying it up. Check the drum to be sure it is still on it"s rollers in the front and centered in the rear. The support rollers will be in the front near the bottom. You should be able to see most of the way around the drum. Make sure that something hasn't come loose and is touching the drum. It is probably not safe to use until you figure out what is causing the noise.
