What about Batman Begins?

Batman Begins was too long, but it wasn't the worst. It's close between Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.

Never mind. If that crap with Adam West and Burt Ward from the 60's counts, that gets my vote.

Batman Begins is arguably the best of the Batman movies--devoid of a lot of Tim Burton's camp thanks to Christopher Nolan's direction, going at it from a completely different angle. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the follow up.

The worst Batman movie was Batman Forever by far. Val Kilmer was about as believable as Batman as I would be a street pimp.

In actuality, out of the first four Batman movies, I really only liked 1989's Batman. Batman Returns did not age well and was too corny for its own good. Batman Forever and Batman and Robin took a step in a more lighthearted direction (probably more similar to the campy show) only it wasn't self-aware like the television show was.

I thought Batman begins was OK. I think the worst was definately Batman and Robin. Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze were TERRIBLE! The effects were terrible. The script was terrible. And as much as I LOVE George Cloony, he just was not a good batman in my opinion! The first two were definately the best (Batman and Batman Begins). I think it was because Tim Burton directed them and Michael Keaton was batman. I think he did excellent. But in answer to your question, Batman and Robin sucked the most.

Batman Begins was awesome, but all the ones in the late 80's and 90's were pretty awful. I think they learned from the X-men and Spider-man franchise that a superhero movie does not have to be all cheesy and stupid, and that is why Batman Begins was so great.

The only Batman movies that didn't suck were the original Batman and Batman Returns. All the other movies sucked for various reasons. I think the main reason was that Tim Burton was the director for the first two movies.

Batman & Robin sucks each other's duck.

Batman Begins really rocks however.

Have you seen the 1966 Batman movie based on the tv show? It is really really painful to watch. It's embarassingly bad.
