You would copyright a language you created. For example, Klingon (Star Trek), Elvish (Tolkein). You can't copyright a current spoken language, although the French are trying to copyright their language (j/k).

A computer language you created could also be copyrighted.

Patents would not be appropriate for any language.

Yes, and there are some that have been copyrighted (though it'd usually only be used to ensure the creator can preserve their intent, as a language you had to pay to speak wouldn't be very attractive).
