I have a doctorate in Classical studies, therefore I'm always busy doing something.

I have two children, a son and a daughter, but my son is grown up and out on his own, so he takes care of himself. My daughter is 17, and though she still lives at home, does what she wants. Parenting never really was something I considered a job; my wife was a stay at home mother, so now and then, all I did was bring home a pay check.

I would consider my chief employer, as in they give me the biggest pay checks, to be Virginia Commonwealth University. So, you could assume my chief occupation to be a professor, as lecturing is what I spend most of my time doing, and it's also what I enjoy the most. It's also the only forum in which I can demand total respect, and can scold someone for calling me "Mister" rather than "Doctor".

However, I'm also an author, researcher, opinion columnist, and consultant, all of these pertaining to Classical History.

As occupation means the state of being employed then I have none! - in that definition.
My occupation (another definition) tonight is to enjoy myself on YA trying to be of help to others - though I cannot see how this answer will help!
