I want to make a small 2'-3' high and 5' wide half pipe under 200, preferably closer to $100, i need to know all the wood i need and a set of instructions

You might be cutting it pretty close with your budget; not counting labor.

With no offense at all; do you have tools, and the skills?

The framework can be 2 x 4's; preferably treated, unless you plan to store it when not in use.

You'll have to determine the radius in the frame work and cut it. You'll probably have to score sheets of Exterior ply, cut to size to accomodate the radius, and use sheets of tempered masonite as the finish; secured to the bracing and ply; with nothing protruding. Galvanized screws, at appropriate lengths; counter sunk flush; and you might even take the time to clear coat the PIPE for a bit more long lasting effect.

Since you state "HALF" Pipe, you might consider the radius as important. Obviously it has to function. In a sense of physics the distance across (Diameter) might have to be wider than the 5 ft, width of the PIPE itself. This might be something you'll have to build in two QUARTERS.
