I loved my dad, but he died when I was young.
My mother is the nastiest, most evil mother you could ever come across and I can't stand her.
I was taken into care after my father's death because my mother was giving me her tranquillisers - she took an overdose eventually, so I suppose she must have been trying to kill me. She survived unfortunately!
When she does die, I hope she rots in Hell for all Eternity!

YES!!! You only have one mother and one father, and if they have not done something terribly terribly wrong to hurt or harm you, then everyone should love their parents just as their parents love them. Parents never get the credit they deserve for all of the hard work they put forth in raising a child. This is mostly bc the child gets mad for some reason or another over something that really doesn't matter and will not matter 5 or 10 years from now.

honestly- I have never seriously hated anyone. But due to an unforeseen and potentially inevitable series of events, I was separated from my parents for a few years. The result- I returned to live with my dad, but then realized that not only did I have little in common with him, but I hadn't the slightest familial connection whatsoever- I'm closer to my friends than him. the same with my siblings- my whole family are acquaintances to me- hey, I can't help it- stuff happens. as if I want to not feel anything towards the ones who brought me into the world.

Those of you that answered yes are very lucky. My parents didn't love me and when someone doesn't love you, you can try to love them but it won't work. They won't even understand what you're doing. Some of us can only wish that we had what you have.

What your parents are no one can ever be. No matter who they are or what they do at the end of the day they are still our parents. They drive us nuts sometimes but i thank God that i love them still so so so much it hurts.

Yes, I love my parents very much. What I don't love about them is how they smother me, worry about me, discipline me, and most of all, talk about me to their ugly, stupid, weird so-called friends that I hate and despise so much.

I love my mother. I haven't seen or talked to my father in about 10 years. I don't even know where he is living or if he is still alive.
