There are a lot of crybabies out there whining about OSU. The fact is we are No.1 and will remain No.1. We will go to the National Championship and we will win that game, too. We simply had an off day last year against Florida. Get over it. I hope it is an SEC team with OSU. Then you all can shut the @#$% up. Don't forget, Michigan had their a@#es whooped during their bowl game, too. You will see. We will beat Illinois on Saturday, and on November 17th, that team up north will bow to the Buckeyes. From there, all you haters can cry as you watch the Buckeyes become the undefeated National Champions.

Yes, I am sick of it. Most of the nay-sayers and haters have probably not watched ONE OSU game in its entirety this season. All they know is what they hear.
I have seen the OSU games this year and personally, I'd pit them against any conference any day. Their defense is awesome and their offense is solid.
At least they are winning games that they are SUPPOSED to win - unlike so many other teams.

Uh...no.

THere is a huge difference in falling into #1 by default and EARNING it. OSU is there because every team ahead of them (who all had more difficult schedules) screwed up at least once. So by Default OSU is in #1. That is fine. But what is ludicrous is you fans who think it was earned. It was rather akin to inheriting a fortune, not making one yourself.

Yes the Buckeyes did what they should....and are undefeated with the 82nd strongest schedule this year. Good. But to think that they are actually better than Oregon or LSU, simply because they each lost to one team ...and ranked ones at that? Very faulty reasoning. By the BCS standards, the Bucks are where they belong. But they are far from the best team.

You want respect? Stop whining and sniveling. Your team isn't crying about it, your coach isn't. Try to show 1/10th of the class they do, and wait til your team actually earns the respect.

What will that take? Lets see....your team was better last year, went undefeated against a good schedule, and lost BIG in the NC. SInce then they have beat NOBODY. When an IF they win the NC game, or at least lose by a respectable margin (less then 7 pts)....then they will have finally EARNED some respect. Not Before.

Sure OSU will remain #1 because they play the easiest schedule in all of NCAA football. And that is a fact. OSU is #1 by default. If LSU, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma, WVU, or Florida were undefeated (they actually play tougher schedules, by far), they would be ranked #1 ahead of Oh. St.
If Oh. St. fans want to congratulate anyone, it should be the AD for making the schedule.

Ohio St did not have an off day against Florida, they showed weakness, and were destroyed by the ones called the Florida Gators. Darth Brady is hoping for a much better title game this year, maybe Oregon and LSU. If Ohio St faces LSU, it will be very Dark days for the Buckeyes indeed.

what credit do they deserve?? to be the best you need to play the best.. i know its not their fault that the big ten is weak this year, but last time i checked... kent st, akron u, and youngstown were not in the big ten, so not only is the big ten a joke this year... ohio state's non conference schedule is also a joke. so how can you justify that by beating weak teams, they deserve to be number 1. i do believe they are a good team, but lets be honest, 95 percent of the top 25 would be also undefeated with that schedule. you are going to be highly disappointed if they make it to the NC game. its going to be another blowout by whoever... LSU, Oregon... and dont make the excuse about an off day.. you have one of the best coaches in the country, they were ready... its just they have no idea how much better the SEC is. they never had a chance.

BCS championship will come down to four teams, I'm convinced, not in any specific order:

Ohio State - Obviously a top team
LSU - Underrated in my opinion
Missouri - This is a VERY dangerous team with nothing to lose.
Oklahoma - Under the radar as well.

No, because they deserve no credit!

If the SUCKEYES win the National Championship this year, I believe that this will be proof enough that the current BCS system is flawed and a playoff format needs to be put in place.

Also, if they win it all, it should be followed by a HUGE asterisk!

No, I agree. Let's give them the credit they deserve.

Bowl Game Record against SEC schools:

OSU 0 SEC 8

Any questions?

Credit for what? Having the easiest schedule of ANY number 1? OK, I'll give them credit for that.

Dude...doesn't being ranked #1 = credit given? How much more credit do you think they deserve?

Stop crying.
