Attention whores are people who love attention and go out of their way to get it. And don't know what to do with themselves if they don't get it. I know plenty of them.

An 'Attention Whore' is someone willing to do anything to get it.
Hmmmm.... maybe that should be an 'Attention Nymph'
An 'Attention Whore' should be someone you pay to pay attention, like a Psychologist.

My sister-in-law, no doubt. She wants attention all the time and for some reason it's never for a good reason. She makes up things so she can be the center of attention. The woman is nearly 50 years old, you'd think she'd have grown up by now.

Don't we all know one??? It's the friend you have that wants/needs/must have attention to the exclusion of all else in life, no matter what is going on with you. They initially will care about "your" issues, but within a sentence, it comes back around to them! And it will never change...

I prefer the term attention junky. I was the youngest in my family and the center of attention at a early age now I have to have it every day or my self esteem plummits.

I know several they are my 'friends' they are people who want constant attention, always want to be the centre of attention and don't let anyone else get attention. enough said.
