I don't think that there are any specific laws against this just make sure that when the music is playing you are still able to hear just in case the emergency services need to get passed you, we wouldn't want you involved in an accident now would we.

I think it's illegal to listen to headphones on a motorbike or in a car.

No-but if the plod pulled you,and could prove you were not "in full and proper control of your vehicle",or were "driving without due care and attention",then they`ll do you.
Question-why would you WANT to ride listening to an I-Pod anyway??

Watch out for the volume if you do this. It's too easy to have it turned up loud to overcome helmet noise which will quickly damage your hearing. Watch out for post-ride tinnitus. Not good, and permanent if you're not very careful.

It´s legal while stopped at a traffic light or stop sign but not legal while moving. Just be sure to turn it off each time you start moving and you will be ok.

its so dangerous, dont do it, bikes are more likely to crash tan a vehicle. ive seen bike crashes and i dont want another live lost,
