I agree. I hate to deal with the shopping aspect. Gift Certificates are easier and then the person can get what they want.

Fact: 50 percent of all Christmas gifts are returned.

I have a large family and have been giving gift vouchers for the last 3 years. My family love them they spend them at the after christmas sales and get double the amount of items.

I prefer recieving gift certificates, because I always know just what to get myself!

i think gift certificates are fine, as long as its not a close close person ( or if thats what they really really want) part of giving gifts is taking the time and picking out something special for your loved one.....

I usually don't get people gift certificates. It just seems impersonal to me. I only get gift certificates for those who I just don't know what to get, or those who seem to have everything.

i don't think it is better...unless you are getting starbucks certificates...or something specific that the person really likes...otherwise it just looks like you bought it because you had to but didn't want to spend time on the person...i know they are easier but you did ask

I have been doing that for the past 8 years and they love it. I have no idea what to get my picky family so this is what they get.

my dad has been giving them out for as long as i have known of christmas...no one complains.in fact ,majority of our relatives looks forward to them more than everybody else's gifts...he is a favourite!!!
