A. Two teams within 20km of each other is way too much

B. No, it's fun to watch them fans fight over who has the worse stadium

C. No, it's refreshing to have two of the most hated teams in baseball

D. Why not? Subway series are great, the MTA loves it.

E. Yes, we need more integration. White people goes to Yankee games, but blacks and latinos go to Mets games. Fans simply don't mix. Teams are supposed to unite a city not divide it.

D. But the last subway series was in 2000 and the one before that was in 1957 i think.

At one time NY had 3 teams (Brooklyn Dodgers now LA Dodgers, and NY Giants now SF Giants), and NYC can still support 3 teams. In fact, many owners wanted to move their teams to NYC to have 3 again, but because the baseball is exempt from the antitrust laws of the USA, the Yankees and Mets have final say if a 3rd team comes to NYC and both teams don't want that. The A's were the last team I know of about that wanted to move to NYC. You must realize NYC is an extremely populated city, and that doesn't include the NYC metro area, even LA, the 2ND most populated city, has no where near the people NYC has.

Horserot. Metro NYC is the largest population market in the nation, and 50 years ago, when it was much smaller, it supported THREE teams.

It could do that again. Heck, four. That'd cut down the media market advantage that the Yankees and Mets enjoy. Ha!

Not that it will ever happen in our lifetimes. Not with the anti-trust exemption still in effect. Hmm, wonder if MLB will celebrate the 100th anniversary of that little legal spangle in 2022?

Why only two teams. The region is big enough population wise to have more than the Mets & Yankees.

I was born in the Bronx and am a Yankee fan, but I do not hate the Mets unless they sucked like in 2001-04ish. You have no clue what your talking about so please don't post anything. F = None of the above. 2 teams or more just like the old days are what New York needs. Apparently, you aren't a baseball fan, or you simply hate New York like any loser would hate success. Shut your face newbie.

Clippers- for Griffin Wiz- for Wall I think that the 76ers are going to be good Knicks, Suns and Warriors are going to be in lots of high scoring games.

I don't agree with E. However, only the Yankees should be in NY.
