Hi guys, i have just been bought flowers by moy lovely boyfriend. In the bunch are some pink roses, but also, as well as lots of decorative stuff, some big flowers which look, sounds bizarre, like a combination between a cabbage and a rose!!!!! does anyone know what the plant is called and whether it actually is a cross between these two things! (I would include a picture but I don't know how). Many thanks. xxx

It could be an ornamental cabbage - they do exist! You can't eat them (I don't think) but they certainly look lovely! How luck you are to have such a thoughtful boyf!
