At 9, I really wanted to be a classical ballet dancer, and my life revolved around ballet. By about 14 I'd more or less given up dancing (discovered boys!)These days I drive speedway cars for a hobby, with my daughter, run an electrician company and have absolutely nothing to do with dancing.

So, no I don't think I would be ashamed of who I've become, more surprised x

no I think my younger self would like me very much! I am a pretty good momma (which is more than I can say for my younger self's momma) and I don't drink or do drugs. I am married to my high school sweat heart! and I have 2 beautiful children of my own and 2 that I am adopting! I think that my younger self would like me!

At age 9 I had plans of being a very famous singer/actress, be unbelievably beautiful with a models body and visit nearly every country. That was over 11 years ago, and none of that has happened. So, yeah. My younger self would probably kill herself is she knew what she'd someday become.
Good question.

No! She'd be absolutely amazed at what we have achieved in the world, finding pockets of safety to live within and learning and having an interesting and eventful life.

She would appreciate how well we have survived and met opportunities and challenges.

She would be so pleased that we found out what love meant to us and are able to give and receive
unconditional positive regard.

The nine year old was suicidal depressed and living on another planet; totally in fantasy and stories and poetry. I think she would be dead pleased to see that we found the way out and have a bridge to planet earth.

She would clap her hands and say "jolly well done!!"

He'd be disappointed. At 9, there were a lot of dreams and imagination. Yes, he'd ask where the rocket pack was and wonder why I didn't have my own personal robot. Little would he know that his 9 year old struggles would dog me into my 40's.

He'd say, "Wow, you have a computer and it fits on a desk?"
