Ultimately, you're dead so its academic.
But I think burial is more dignified. In te UK, after cremation, theres a fair bit of the body left, so it is put in a cement mixer full of metal balls to pound the body to ash. There are often bits of the previous occupant in the mixer. I would not want that treatment for anybody that I loved.
That is the truth- research it if you like.
Plus my father was once a grave digger. He saw a family scattering ashes on a wet and windy day, and the wind blew the ashes over a digger at the graveside. So this families relative ended up plastered all over a JCB.
Stick to burial.

I want to be buried. Cremation reminds me to much of hell. Nobodys burning my body!! Imaging the smell when your cremated..........cooking skin!!! ewwww.<3

You need the eggs of flies to create maggots dearie and I just don't see a mortician adding them.
Due to embalming, people are fairly well preserved. You get a little fugly though.
For me however, take me to a taxidermist. I'd like to live out my death as a scarecrow and get some REAL mileage out of this ol' body of mine.

Cremated. same here, can't stand the thought of being in the ground, bugs, dirt, coffin! no way!
