PgB: If we are so arrogant as to not consider the world view, we will be swallowed up by its progression. FYI - The dollar fell to the point where it is now less than the Canadian loonie. Take a look at the EU. They are the fastest growing supernation on the planet. If they are successful in the long run, America will either have to create their own supernation or join with another supernation. Either way, paying attention to the world view of America is of great importance if we are to remain competitive. Any other view is blind. I may be convinced otherwise regarding this topic, but it will take irrefutible evidence, which only time will provide.
Your comment would make sense if I was angry. Again, a con jumping to conclusions! It is not anger that motivates me. I am sick of the bullying. And I will not go away just because you think you can push me around. Nice try, con.
I do not like bush. I lived in texas when he was king. He cares not for the people, only for his politics.

One thing I really admire about Bush is the one thing that you anti-Bush people love to harp about, 'the worlds view on us.'
Leaders like Bush and Blair did what they had to do without worrying what 'the world' would think of them. I lived outside the US before Bush. You're gullible if you think all this anti-Americanism began with Bush and Iraq. What 'began' was global communication and a pile on. They do it for fun. Go live with them and find out.
Help us all the day the Bush and Blairs are all replaced with nanny boys who will only do what they think 'the world' will agree with.
**Go away, little stefanov, you have anger issues.

I think Clinton did more to actually denigrate our image before the rest of the world than Bush has done.
Clinton gave us the appearance of being weak and immoral.
Libs don't like to hear it, but I still believe that the issues Bush has had to deal with concerning Saddam and bin Laden, were deferred by Clinton and if he had taken care of business earlier on, the job would not have gotten as nasty or, as costly as it has.
I am not current on the dollar situation and not knowledgeable enough to decipher between the various opinions that it is/is not a good thing, so I am going to withhold my opinion on that. I do know many have said it will strengthen our economy in the long run.
Overall, I think GW has done a good job with what he was presented.
I admire his resolve and look at the situation in Iraq much as I believe he does - in terms of its long term benefits, of which I am positive there will be many unless, we close shop and come home.

I don't. Why would anyone like a traitor that allowed the attacks of 9/11 to happen so he'd have an excuse to invade iraq?

Conservatives like George W. Bush because he sees the
world in absolutes, i.e. Black and White/Good vs. Evil.
They don't realize that life is composed of varying shades
of gray, unlike what they were taught in kindergarten.
Truth be told, the only positive act that George W. Bush achieved is the passage of the "Do not call list".
Oh, and his speech has improved somewhat over the past 6 years.

The reason I like Bush is because he has set the threshold for incompetence so low that no future President could possibly be as bad as Dubya. Once he leaves office the office can only improve,

i like bush because he was us at the beginning of this war. he was our voice, as a good president should be.And as our leader he has pursued our decision, a vast majority, as he promised and as we expected him to do, at the beginning, all to now, regardless of whom among us has faltered. he has held high the american peoples honor and is a great credit to the history of the united states of america and to the great heritage of its presidency which has consistently rang the bell of justice and freedom for all the world to hear for more than two centuries.
