As a baseball fan, while I love the sportscasters at NESN, listening to Sports talk on radio and reading sports columnists. Those of us who read the Boston Globe newspaper are stuck with the likes of columnist Dan Shaughnessy and his potshot riddled and opinionated sports rants.

The guy is obsessed with his dislike of Schilling because Curt dares to have his own blog. Guess Danny-boy wanted to play baseball when he grew up and its sour grapes that Curt also has more talent than he does with words??

Can't say that I agree with Dan all the time. But I usually read him, and he makes some interesting points. And that's a pretty good sign for a columnist.

Yup, he can be a little negative and hold some grudges. Yup, sometimes he goes over the top. (See Everett, Carl) I've heard from others that Schilling isn't exactly the most popular person in the Red Sox clubhouse, so I can't quibble too much with some of Dan's arguments there.
