With me, you never know. I'll simply say hello, yup, or Katie's answering service how may I help you? (if my daughter is home) Sometimes I act like I'm the answering machine and say we're not available right now...beep. (yes, I'll say beep)
I've been known to answer it just breathing heavy too.
It's enough to say I have my own brand of fun with it. I'll either amuse you or look like an idiot and I don't care which one it ends up being either. It's MY phone and MY time.
My family and friends are used to it and no one else matters that much to me.

It would depend on what part of the day it is, let me elaborate....
From the time I get up in the morning till about 12 noon I'll say...
"Good morning, Mohrmann residence"
From 12 noon to 6PM I'll say....
"Good afternoon, Mohrmann residence"
From 6PM to whatever time I go to bed I'll say...
"Good evening, Mohrmann residence"

If I don't recognize the voice I might say "Who is this?" first thing then we both will be saying "No, who is this?" Then I will eventually hang up.
Most of the time I say Hi.
