This doesn't make any sense to me.

Don't get me wrong, i'm gay and i've seen alot of good looking guys that i am attracted to, and it turns out that they are straight.
It's a bit like 'Boy, you fooled me I thought you were ....'
It's not fair.

It may be part of what I call the phenomenon of "the curse of the beautiful people".

Let's face it, very attractive people know they're very attractive. And as such, many of them are affected more with vanity concerns about their physical features than are those who are less attractive.

As such, their vanity often manifests itself in constantly seeking affirmation that they are in fact very attractive. Men are naturally vain creatures to begin with, and extremely attractive men even more so.

The vexing thing about this kind of vanity is that there is no such thing as enough affirmation. When an extremely attractive person claims that they are not that attractive, it may seem as if they're being humble, but it's really a false humility. They're just seeking affirmation from others that yes, they are in fact very attractive.

It's possible that these males you've interacted with are seeking more affirmation that they're attractive. It probably doesn't matter that the affirmation is coming from the same gender.

In fact, it's probably all the more flattering that way. Gay men are generally considered to be very concerned with physical appearances, so the fact that a gay man finds a straight man extremely attractive is great confirmation that the guy really is extremely attractive.

On the other hand, they could simply be closeted.

We're just not used to seeing straight guys being able to express themselves. Most would repress such behavior for fear of being thought to be gay and then harassed, disowned or whatever else straight people do to us. With homophobia going down a bit, I think they feel better able to express themselves without fear.

They might be Bi sexual, as for some guys who are very obsessed in physique some might just feel comfortable as skinny thin and neat and vegatarians, most who are vegans tend to be more sknnier and or more feminine looking than other men because of the lack of type of chemical that red meat produces.

Yes it's called Metrosexual. Some straight men do it because they think women like gay men. Hence they think acting gay will get them more women. They miss the much more basic point. It isn't that women like gay men, it's that women like men who bath regularly!

I dunno what "acting gay" is other than acting the stereotype... ahh but some women would be out of luck if you were not right to some extent... after all I have quite the thing for effemenant men, for whatever reason. Don't worry you'll find someone who's perfect for you.. promise...
