Criminal Justice. I finished my degree right after I retired from the military. All I could find was jobs making only 20 to 25 K a year as Probation/Parole Officer for the State. For a number of years, I designed alarm systems for a Security Company. Then one day a friend of mine (X-Man5502 on yahoo Q&A) suggested I come to work with him as a Car Salesman. Well, I did and that is what I've been doing ever since.

I did my masters degree in Mathematical Statistics from university of Delhi, India.
Yes it did help me in my job as Marketing Manager in Coca-Cola bottling Plant and now after leaving the job, I use it in social work I am involved in, being more logical while dealing with people.

Got a 2:1 Hons Degree in History / Geography.

Not really using it now, but the degree DID allow me to get certain jobs that I would not have otherwise been considered for.

A degree is really a peice of paper that 'opens certain doors' well worth having.

I studied Forensic Science at Uni and got a degree, then left Uni, and joined a company as a buyer.

So nope i wasted 4 years of my life for nothing.
