Tip # 1, don't buy the self adhesive ones, they tend to fall off much easier!
Buy the lashes, then cut them down to the length of your eyelid. Curl your natural lashes first, then apply a thin layer of the adhesive to the eyelash, let it dry a little so it's tacky, then push it onto the inside corner of your upper eyelid, and work your way to the outter edge. You want to make sure that it's as close to your actual lashes as possible.
If you want a more natural look, buy individual lashes instead of the full strip, then apply them where your lashes are more sparse!
Have fun!

I work at Hooters and I've heard all the different methods of perfecting getting those eyelashes on. Once you perfect it they'll look soo beautiful and you'll look so glamorous. First of all make sure you get a good set of eyelashes...most people look best in the one that flare out at the ends..the lashes progressively get longer as they get to the end. When you take the lashes out of the packaging make sure to pull from the lashline and not the lash itself. You can cut a few lashes from the ends if they are too long but I never do..it just depends on the shape of your eye. Never just use the self adhesive lashes that claim you don't need glue. You can still use those but ALWAYS use glue and make sure you take the glue with you in your purse when you're wearing the lashes because you never know how the glue might hold up throughout the day. Apply a thin layer of the glue to the lash line and wait until it dries for about 30 seconds. This creates a "sticky" texture to the glue and doesn't cause the glue to run into your eye. The brand I use is Duo adhesive. Make sure to align the lashline to your own lashline as close to the roots as possible. Find the center of your lashes and work from there gently patting it down and making sure the corners are securely glued down. From there you can apply a thin layer of eyeliner and apply some mascara . You want to always apply mascara even if it's just a little because when looking at someone from the side that has fake eyelashes and NO mascara you can see the persons real lashes seperated from the false one. Adding a touch of mascara blends in both your lashes and the fake ones...and also makes them appear fuller and darker. You can also use an eyelash curler to make them a little flirty. Hope that helps a little. What kind of eyelashes do you use? Brands?

I have worn a lot of falsh eyelashes and applied many to other people. Practice makes perfect. However, I found a way that works best for me. I buy the individual lashes and glue. I curl my lashes and then I put one layer of mascara on them first. This way, I can see how my lashes are curling. Then I take a tweezer, pick up the individual little lash 'clump' at the end (not the tip or side that you put the glue on). I then dip the lash end in glue and fit the lashes in with my real ones. They are easy to control and hang on to with the tweezer. It is easy to get them all in the same direction as your natural lashes this way. Then you can apply as many as you want to get your desired look. Then top off with another coat of mascara. I feel that when I apply them on myself this way I get better control. Good luck, false lashes are fun!

you can do that if you want out make sure you get naturally looking eyelashes for the bottom. i wouldn't suggest the strip lashes only cuz it will probably look funny. i would go with the individual lashes meaning there lashes but you would have to put them on 1 by 1. if you never put individual lashes it may be difficult for some i could imagine the bottoms it will probably be harder.. hope this helped :)

I presume you are referring to the oners that require lash glue to apply. First off you need to put a thin "strip" of adhesive glue on each lash on the inside /top... When done, let the glue "set" for about 30-45 seconds, then find an "imaginary center" on each one, and an imaginary center to your top eyelid....Match them up apply lightly, until you are satisfied they are centered, and then press lightly, as you go along...Once you are satisfied they are in the right position. let them dry moreso before proceeding to do shadows, liner, etc
