When I was growing up it was a family affair. All about sharing and love. Now all it seems to be about is... What did you get me ? It's just not the same anymore....

I agree with you totally! I always loved the family reunions we had as a kid and now all the world wants is to make it a stressful time instead of a joyful time! I wish it would go back to the way it used to be!

I agree, when I was growing up, it was about going out with my step dad and getting the perfect tree, having Xmas carols on Christmas Eve with all the relatives.......I never see anything like that anymore. Having snow on Xmas morning, being with your family.......so much has changed since those good ole days!! Too Bad!! But I haven't changed, I still appreciate all those things and I miss them!

i totally agree when i was younger it was sooooo much fun....and it was like a masive family dinner, loads of sparkley decorations lots of love and gifts.....and now days we get a tree shuffed in the conner of the room, just me my mum n bf and son for christmas dinner, and 1 present......where did it all go :( its sooooo sad!
