This is more of a personal ordeal but I was in Hawaii surfing and I got rolled in a real bad place. I fell off my board and the wave(6 to 8 footer) pushed me straight to the bottom, it felt like someone was standing on my chest. I wasn't expecting to go all the way to the bottom so I didn't have much air. Eventually the pressure let up and I swam to the surface only to be pushed right back under by another wave. I tried swimming under water but the waves kept pinning me and rolling me around, a few times I swam down instead of up cause I was so disoriented. This went on for probably 3 minutes but it seemed like an hour. Eventually I made it out of that area and back onto the beach where I passed out from exhaustion. About an hour later I woke up and told my mom what happened, she thought I was sun bathing the entire time i was passed out. Thats probably the closest Ive ever come to dying. Oh and I pee'd blood the next day from all the battering my kidneys took. What a great vacation huh?

Once, when I went hiking with my friends in the mountains, we climbed a waterfall. Everyone took the easy way up, which was just on the edge, but I was intelligent enough to take the side covered with moss. I barely got to the top when I started to slip and a friend caught one of my arms. I know I could've died because there was a huge rock directly below me. So there's my story

I've almost drowned once. My friend and i were swimming and she grabbed my straps. She was heavier then me, so she was the main reason i wasn't able to get up fast enough.
So, i went down. She was down. I stepped on her and "jumped" to the top. I said "Help! Blah Blah Blah" and i went back down. I couldn't swim. ( Once she had my straps she dragged me to the other end. "Eh, i can hold you! Your not that heavy!).
The deeper i got, the more color everything lose. Thats actually the second time i've lost the ability to see color for a moment. Anywho, everything started to lose color except for the sun. I think the water was bending the light or something.
We never passed out though. A army chick jumped in and saved us both. We never saw her again, which wasn't really that weird but my friends mom said it was because she was an Angel.
The End. ;]
Oh, they made us throw up the water and stuff. Around that time is when i felt like passing out.

According to the rescue people I actually died for 2 Minn and came back. I was 15 yr old at the time. I went somewhere while I was gone. And remember it like it was yesterday.. I believe I was on my way to heaven and was stopped and told it was not my time yet. And woke on the stretcher..

i was going through a yellow light, really fast so i could get through it because there were cameras and if you go through a red light it takes a picture of you and you get a ticket. so i was going through the light pretty fast probably around 60, and a huge like 18-wheeler was coming out of the parking lot to the right of me. it wasnt stopping so i was like oh sh!t.. i swerved around it in the far 2 right lanes. luckily no one was in those lanes, because if i hadnt moved i would have been in a head-on collision with a huge truck. i would have died for sure. at the time i wasnt scared but afterwards my adrenaline kicked in and i was like "what if i ran in to them! oh my godddd" so yeah. thankfully im ok :)

I worked for forestry during a summer one time, and the crew I was with, we were sitting in the back of the truck, and I was in a chair, kinda leaning against the door(that was locked), but it was old, so it opened and we were going about 40...and I fell, but my friend grabbed me, and pulled me by my shirt, yah so scary

christmas of 2001: our airplane was hit by lightning. nobody knew it was lightning while we were on it. this was after 9/11. nobody came on the speakers to say anything or calm us down. everyone got really quiet and started crying and praying. though it was terrorists. we were flying to florida.
when we got to florida we got our rental car and we went the wrong way on the road. there were like 4 lanes of cars coming straight at us.

I have anaphylactic allergies. Once I did not know I was allergic to aspirin (thought it was just bees) and I went into shock and almost died.
At the hospital when they were reviving me and they were screaming at me to open my eyes, I felt so angry at them because even though I was not anywhere I was somewhere wonderful.
