For that "home-cooked" feel, it would be fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
But for a meal that I have to actually cook at home, I guess it would be spaghetti.

The one my kids enjoy the most is roast chicken with stuffing, mashed potatos, homemade gravy, corn on the cob and salad.
When I am alone it is either angel hair pasta with garlic oil and seasonings with shrimp and fresh brocoli or a Porterhouse steak, rare, with onion and butter new potatoes and a big, crunchy, veggie filled salad.

When my bf decides to make his famous homemade lasagna......it is so good, and he doesn't make a little , he makes a whole roasting pan full.......usually so he can have leftover to freeze for his lunches...never works out that way though.....everybody wants some!!!! Isn't that a song?!! LOL!! Needless to say, it must weight at least 30 lbs. and it is usually gone in 2 days!!!!

Corned beef and cabbage! Its the only meal that tastes like garbage, even at a restaurant. Except Fitzpatrick's in Reno, its pretty good there...
Edit: HAHAHA, I meant to say, it only tastes good home-made, and anywhere else it tastes like garbage...

or homemade macaroni with meatballs, sausage , pork and
beef with a homemade sauce.
