To Rosco: They always seem to come out of the woodwork when you start bringing home the bacon don't they - sicko people. How could a mother leave her child like that?

I saw her video earlier in the week on this song "I Wonder" and knew it was a true story - especially since she co-wrote it - and when she performed it tonight I was very tearful just watching it, especially at the end of the song.

For those of you that don't know - Kellie Pickler's mother abandoned her at age 2 due to domestic violence and left her with her grandparents to raise. However, my mother was a victim of domestic violence and would have never left me. Kellie's mother took the easy way out in my opinion. If she could leave Kellie with her Grandparents, she could have taken her with her as well.

I never took the time to learn anything about Kellie Pickler but after watching her performance lastnight you just knew the song was about her life and when I heard she co-wrote it, that just confirmed my suspicions. What an emotional performance...one straight from the heart. Isn't that what we look for when watching one of our favorite singers perform? I think it was a fabulous performance. I certainly feel her pain, as my parent too left me when I was a newborn and we've not spoken or seen eachother since. Slightly different since it was my father...nobody ever thinks a mother can leave her child...nonetheless, a parent chose to not be a part of a childs life...boy, did her mother miss out!

I didn't watch American Idol the season that she was on, so I really didn't know much at all about Kellie Pickler, but that performance last night at the CMA struck me as deeply heartfelt and genuine.

I found myself in tears at the end and very curious about what lies ahead in her career.

i think of Carrie sounded greater effective and appeared greater effective then Kellie on the award shows. Kellie's outfit appeared like she belonged on the line nook and that i could no longer even understand a million/2 of what she grew to become into asserting while she grew to become into making a track. Carrie appeared stylish and stylish and sounded no longer as sturdy as she usually does, yet nonetheless lots greater effective then ms. pickler.

i thought it was really sweet. unlike what someone else said, i think for the first time she WAS being real. those were obviously real tears and that was an emotional song she sang. imagine coming from where she was with a mom who didn't want her and a dad who was in prison most of her life, then to find yourself singing at the CMAs.

i really liked it. and i like that she didn't have to play dumb. i think she's grown up a lot since AI. i was flipping channels and came across the performance. i thought it looked like her but i honestly wasn't sure because here was this pretty woman singing a serious song and she didn't giggle or act stupid or anything. i never liked her, but i think my opinion might change about her after seeing that.

I thought her performance was great, i cried with her, I cant imagine going through something tragic like that and turning it around and singing about it. She has a lot of courage and I think she is a beautiful young woman. Stay strong Kellie, God will continue to provide for you!

She had tears running down my face. It was very sad. Her mother came out to eye witness news today as being her mother. Sure, to get money...left her at age two,,i think that is why she started crying.

I thought it was very moving. You could tell the emotion that went into the writing of the song. That's real music. When you can feel it. You can tell it was from the heart.

I thought the performance was very touching. We all know her story, and to have made it in the business, arriving in "Tennessee". Great performance, great person. I wish her all the best.
