Moose is my fave. If cooked properly it has no 'wild' taste to it. And generally I know the person making the ground meat, so I know what's in it. As well there are no chemicals in the meat from farming, since it's wild meat.

I wonder if you read all your answers.

Have you tried searching "vegan burger recipe", not just "veggie burgers"? You might get better results. But, for any that contain eggs, you can just replace them with vegan "eggs". I find flax eggs work best in burgers. They're a great binder, plus they add some good nutrition (omega 3). About two Tbsp. ground flax seeds mixed well with about three Tbsp. warm water is equal to one egg. You can also just use some arrowroot or cornstarch mixed with water 'til it's about the consistency of an egg or use almost any other egg replacer. Anyway, this is how I usually make basic veggie burgers: Drain & press a block of extra firm tofu, then crumble it up into a really big bowl (or use a can or two of some kind of beans, mashed really well). Add some wheat gluten, frozen spinach, some kind of seeds (sunflower, sesame, etc. or finely chopped or ground nuts), grated carrot, a couple flax eggs, oatmeal. and some onion, garlic, & celery that I've sauteed together, and whatever other herbs/spices I feel like. Then add veggie broth a little at a time, mixing in between, until it's all good & cohesive but not too thin. Then just shape into patties & coat them in bread crumbs before frying or baking. This makes a lot of burgers. You could start with less tofu/beans and make fewer. I always make a larger batch because I freeze most of them so I can just grab one quick when I want to later on.

It depends, do you like all of those meats or are you just asking? I personally think that a beef burger is the best but i have also had turkey burgers and they aren't bad. See daddy is allergic to beef and pork and every other good meat except for chicken and turkey so we've (mom and i) have been trying different things with them. But chicken burgers are NASTY!!!

Ground Beef, "NOT" the lean ground beef, you have to make sure the ground beef is fatty, the fatty ground beef gives the best juiciest burgers, and when you barbecue the burgers, you can't flip it no more than once, that's all you need is one flip, if you keep flipping the burgers when they are on the grill you will lose the juice and they will become dry. Everyone loves my barbecue burgers! : )
