Looks like we pulled his cover! How can he support somebody who approves of abortion, multiple marriages and supports gay rights? To me, Robertson is the epitome of a hypocrite.

Lancelot: During the last election, he supported Bush and proclaimed his reason was that Bush, being a man of God with high morals was why everyone should vote for him. Do you suppose he supports Giuliana for those reasons, or because he's more apt to win the nomination?

And, why do I care? I keep thinking cons will see Robertson as he is, but I should know they will make excuses for him.

Robertson is a hypocrite, yes.

In this case, though, he reflects the right-wing attitude--and desperation. Their agenda of religious statism and anti-Americanism has been throughly rejected by the overwhelming majority of Americans. Tey are NOT going to vote for any Democrat--they wouldn't vote for Jesus Himself if He ran as a Democrat.

They have no viable right-wing candidates--and if they did, the American people simply will not vote for another neocon. So--the religious right is desperatly trying to find some way to minimize the political collapse of their entire agenda (which is what is happening). Somehow finding a GOP candidate that can win--no matter WHAT the individual candidate's record and positions are--is the only course of action they have left. And Gulliani is about the only candidate that has any chance of making a fight of it. Romney desn't--his vacillation on issues has already discredited him. Ron Paul--who is probably the most honsest of the GOP candidates, has a political agenda that makes him unelectable. Thompson is simply a neocon--and so cannot win. McCain's continued suport of Bush's military aggression makes him a non-starter in 2008. The other Repubicans simply don't have the political appeal/shtength. Gullliani is the only option left.

Pat Robertson wanted to support Rudy Giuliani who is one of the leading aspirants for the Presidency. In case Giuliani wins. Robertson will reap the harvest.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Giuliani will likely win.

Pat Robertson has said that he is looking forward to the "end time" when disasters will wreak havoc on the earth before the second coming. Maybe he thinks Rudy Giuliani will hasten the end time.

Pat is supporting the person that he feels appropriate for the job.
By the way, how would that make him a hypocrite? He is against all that.. He supports the man for other belief''s.. Let God work out the details!

Since you are probably a democrat and for all those things they say Giuliani is for, why do you care?
