My friend thought about having a party where she wanted to play twister with some friends. It was happening at my place....And she wants to bring this fat friend of hers along....I don't really feel like playing twister with this fat person....Because two of my buddies are gonna be there, and I don't wanna be embarrassed. How do I tell this to my friend?

YES I have seen fat people before, but it has never crossed my mind that I will have to PLAY TWISTER with them. It has never crossed my mind that I'd have to make two other guys ALSO play twister with the fat person.

ahaha!! if the party is at your place you should have some say in who comes. tell her that you dont like that girl because of how she acts or something. i wouldn't want to play twister with a fat girl (or boy) either. just thinking about being smushed up against rolls of fat makes me a little sick. i wouldnt tell your friend you don't want the fat kid there because theyre fat. if not just pick a different game

You gotta measure the benefits of this. If you don't think you will get much out of playing the game. Then since you're the host, be the official spinner and watch everyone else play. If the benefits are clear, then get in the game. You're the host after all!

I don't see a problem playing the game with her if she's a cool person.

Good luck.

So your saying your entire family and all your friends are this shallow? Thats pathetic. Everyone has at least one fat relative. Why not act mature and when people make fun of you just say its not worth devastating another person over. Life is hard enough already without adding more pain onto others.

Perhaps you should be one embarrassed because of your shallow & poor attitude :) So what if the girl has a few extra pounds? She may think that you are ugly but she'd probably be too polite to say it! Seriously, this is surely not a big deal. You should be asking yourself what is this person like inside instead of concentrating on her weight!

Sounds like you're in a strawberry jam! :) LOOK, it's JUST a game- & you have NO idea how the party is going to turn out. So rather than get all "worked up" abou this- concentrate on having a good time, and let the "hips fall where they may..." :)

Why on earth would YOU be embarrassed?
Are you the fat person?
Is her weight your responsibility?
Did you make her fat?

Maybe sense of belonging is something she needs so she can loose weight.

Just remember... Some people are fat, some are ugly... and fat people can diet!

Haven't you seen fat people in your life before? HELLO!!! This is America. More than half of Americans are fat. It is not healthy, but everyone is used to fat people in America. Most people don't care. You and your family need to GROW UP.

Do you really want to be that person? The one who says "I'm so concerned about how I appear that I don't want you bringing your overweight friend to a party"? Get over yourself and try getting to know this friend. She could be cool, you know.
