The show has been on a downward spiral. Not really sure what is going on there, but I still like it.

I love Ghost Hunters but was very disappointed with the Live Halloween show and then the reveal. Hey, it's live tv, so it's not really their fault; they can't make paranormal activity happen on que.

However, I think they out and out fabricated or stretched things at Waverly just to keep viewers tuned in for the 6 hour event. Personally, I'd rather have had them walk away with no "eveidence" then to watch them create it.

The biggest example is the ball. They marked the ball and left it. When they returned, it had moved 16 feet. It must be paranormal. Or is it? Live, on film, they ran into a man in the stairway and asked him if he moved the ball. He clearly said "yes, I did, why?" Quickly they flipped to a commercial. Of course, the man's admissions were not mentioned again, but the ball was.

Additionally, on the live episode, Grant says over and over, that the ball is a cheap ball. Even the slightest breeze can cause it to waiver or roll slightly and matched with the fact that it's not weight correctly can cause it to wobble a little while it finds it's resting place.

And the scene with the investigator who thought he walked through sticks and something grabbed his leg. Come on, he stepped on the little plant growing. It startled him and made him jump. No big deal, it happens. However, to grow it in to a tall tale of paranormal activity really discredits these guys.

In the past, they've always seemed to go in trying to disprove the super-natural. However lately, (probably for ratings), they seem to be going in and over looking obvious explanations.

I was disappointed with the Ghost Hunters Live Halloween episode. It was quite boring, and I think the wrestler's presence on the show was futile. I didn't get to watch all 6 hours of the live show, as I fell asleep after the second hour. I was left wanting more excitement and spookiness. Kris, the investigator in training, is really annoying. I was glad to see Dustin back.

The reveal wasn't too interesting. I was hoping the TAPS team caught paranormal activities on camera. I still love the show.

If you mean the waverly hills "live" special, oh yeah big time disappointed, I have seen other shows about that place and can't imagine anyone spending over 6 hours in there and only coming back with footage of a ball barely moving and some weenies hearing noises. I only watch the show every now and then out of morbid curiosity. I thought it had real potential when it first started but they hardly ever catch anything decent, they get excited over stupid stuff and then the really interesting stuff they say, well it doesn't really mean anything....maybe they should stick to plumbing!

Well it depends on which show, the people from England are scared of everything every little noise is a ghost and someone is always getting possessed in every show.

Now the America guys TAPS they are all skeptics and could hear Loud and Clear GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!!
And at the end they would find some way to explain it was the wind or a door creaking or something!

It is too bad there isn't some middle ground between the two shows that is open minded but investigative as well.

What is most funny about them are that the skeptics hear something coming toward them and they leave! If they really were skeptics you would think they would not get scared and stay to find out what the heck that thing is that is coming toward them.

The British show has that girl that is suppose to be a skeptic and yet she is the first one to scream every show.

A scared skeptic! lol

Then the guys from TAPS when I see them say something is coming toward us I don't like that lets get out of here, I am stunned like what what are you there for! Just really both shows are really there for our entertainment when it comes down to it, a half hour or hour of what was that and screams and did you get that, always to end with we don't know inconclusive.

I watched so much of both I could pretty much write a script for them.

"Something just touched my shoulder!" "Ahh" "What did you get that?" "No nothing here in the video" "I swear something touched my shoulder!" "I don't like it here, lets get out of here!" "I just heard a voice! Did you pick that up on audio?" "Huh you just heard a voice what where when?"
"Did you get that?" "No nothing here, it didn't come out on the audio."
Then if it is the British show add a seance and a guy gets possessed and tells them he doesn't want them there, maybe throws some furniture over and take a few swings at some of the other guys.

I think that is pretty accurate account of most of the shows I watched.

Me!!! I had been waiting so eagerly for the reveal show with the solarium footage, and I got to watch pretty much exactly what I saw last week. and there wasn't much at that. The ball, well, I already saw that, I saw the noises from the "body shoot area" but where was the new info the things they were going to show us? The things I was waiting for. If I knew it was just going to end up being a recap of the episode with nothing new to see, I would have watched something else. I just kept waiting and waiting for something to happen and it didn't. I was very disappointed.

My take on this whole thing is it's bound to be boring most of the time. Even the host of the show, Grant Wilson, says that 80% of the stuff they run into turns out to be nothing, explainable, or uneventful.

If you want them to fake stuff to make it exciting, then it would lose its credibility really fast, and you'd quit watching it.
