should canadian stores lower their price to reflect those in the US?

in canada people just always pay more for the same thing especially on cars, now the currency goes up and there's nothing canadian stores gonna do?

No way! Why should they?? After years & years of watching the Yanks pour over the Border & buy Canadien goods with their "cheap American dollars" - NOW the Canadiens can "head South" & buy "cheap" in the U.S.! I'm sure THEY think, "it's about time..!" :)
