It sucks so bad. I hate it. Some act like it is so cool and popular when really, it is stupid. Not only do they play wierd and stupid songs, they play the absolute worst of the rap and rock. Rap needs to get out of there. I hate rap. And they play the gayest videos. They put news on that is irrelevant. Then they try to hold all the "popular" events on it that are frankly a waste of time to watch.
It is just so irritating to watch MTV made all cool-like and teenagerish when really it sucks dirt. It is so wierd and low in quality it is almost indescribable. Why do some people think it is so awesome?

MTV stands now stands for MindlessTV. They try to pass **** and crapfest as entertainment; it's neither music nor reality. It's an insult to the viewer's intelligence, no matter how stupid the viewers may be. The only reasonable explanation why some people think MTV's awesome is that they're probably zombies with very low standards.
I'm just glad there's at least one person out there who feels the same. Nice.

ok to show my age I remember when MTV first came on air, and it was cool back then but of course no one really ever saw a music video before and now all these stupid shows that they put on their has gotten away from what made MTV cool, they need to go back to the music and stop with the stupid reality shows!!!

You say they actually play videos. I haven't seen a video on MTV in about six years.
That channel used to be leading edge. Now, Viacom is rapidly losing its audience and has no formula to revive it.

Yes MTV sucks!! I figured this out years ago. And, just for the record, they DO NOT play rock. They play bullsh*t that record companies want you to believe is rock.

I remember when MTV first came on. It was good back then. I don't think I'd watch it now if someone paid me. It's garbage to me but....

i agree. it use to be good, but now its more about teen issues/dating than music. the shows are stupid and annoying. its one of the dumbest channels out there
